Method of Time-Line in work with parents raising adopted children

Ekaterina Zhuykova:
Research Associate, Adolescent psychology Laboratory, Psychological Institute of Russian Academy of Education (Moscow, Russia), clinical psychologist, systemic family psychotherapist, supervisor of charitable organizations helping foster/adoptive families.

Her work is associated with psycho-therapeutic help for children and adolescents in stationary settings, family crisis intervention, training groups and psychological guidance for adoptive parents. 15 years clinical practice in Center for Mental Health of Children and Adolescents as family psychotherapist. Author of training courses for adoptive parents, several monographs on the topic of helping families with adopted children.

Using Time-Line technique in the study of expectations and motivation characteristics of parents raising adopted children. The practical part includes the exercise aimed at investigation of the expectations of life changes (with Time-Line technique) and demonstration of a role-playing game for online psychotherapy.
